Melanie Hughes

BS, MPAS, PA-C

Melanie was born and raised in the suburbs of Boston, MA. She moved to Baltimore, MD to complete her bachelor’s degree in Biology at Loyola University Maryland. While there, she spent her junior year abroad in Newcastle, England.

Melanie moved back to the Boston area where she worked in a nursing home as a caregiver and in the Surgical ICU at Lahey Clinic as a nursing assistant. She earned her master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Science in the heart of Boston. During her rotations, Melanie spent time in a variety of different specialties, but focused on primary care and internal medicine.

When she is not working, Melanie loves to travel, listen to music, go hiking or watch a movie. She is looking forward to exploring and getting to know the Pacific Northwest.
