Rachel grew up in Broomfield, Colorado and then went on to Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, where she received her bachelor's degree in public health.

After living briefly in Denver, she moved to Los Angeles and received her master's degree in physician assistant practice from the University of Southern California. Her program specialized in primary care in under-served areas and she had the opportunity to work with homeless populations on Skid Row. She did her capstone project on the different aspects of opiate addiction therapy and completed her clinical rotations in LA, Denver and Salt Lake City.

When she's not working, she enjoys rooting for her Denver sports teams, trying out new restaurants, going to movies, traveling, running, visiting her adorable niece and nephews, and attending any type of musical theater she can! She's excited to join the Kirkpatrick Family Care team and explore the beautiful pacific northwest!
