Britta is originally from Frankfurt, Germany and then immigrated to the U.S. with her family as a child. She received her Bachelor’s of Science degree from University of Miami, Coral Gables, Florida. She then worked as a Therapeutic Recreation Specialist until she returned to school to pursue her Physician Assistant degree.
She became a Physician Assistant in 1993. She has worked in a variety of settings including at University of Washington in Bone Marrow transplantation, Oncology and Sarcoma; also the Mayo Clinic in Hematology/Oncology. She has also worked in several underserved and rural areas, including being the lead provider on a mobile clinic in the inner city of St. Louis Missouri.
Her interests outside of work include medical mission work in Kenya Africa, hiking, traveling, sports, motorcycle riding, kayaking, and gardening.

Britta joined Kirkpatrick Family Care in February 2017 and is excited to be a part of Kirkpatrick Family Care and the Longview community.
