Have you had your Medicare Wellness Visit?

In an effort to encourage preventive care and reduce the cost of health care, Medicare has approved a free annual wellness visit for every Medicare patient.  There is no co-pay and no deductible for this yearly service.  This service is now fully operational nation-wide.

During these visits the nurses and doctor (or ARNP or PA) go over your entire health history to see if you are up to date with things like vaccinations, testing for cancers, heart disease, diabetes, depression, etc.  This also encourages us to provide you with helpful information or instruction for various illnesses like heart trouble, emphysema, and diabetes.

Gathering this information helps us advise you on preventive measures to keep you healthy and enjoying a full and active life as long as possible.

And these  MWV's are totally free..  You pay no copay.  Medicare picks up the tab.
