Beth received her Associate Degree in Nursing from Lower Columbia College. She then took a position with St. John Medical Center as a registered nurse (RN). While working at St. John's in critical care, Beth noticed that most heart attack and stroke patients also had poorly managed diabetes. This observation motivated her to design and maintain a diabetes education
program for the hospital. She realized that by teaching patients how to better take care of Today, Beth has over twenty years experience in diabetes education and she has been sharing her knowledge with Kirkpatrick Family Care patients since 1999. Beth took a leave of absence in 2010. |
